Independently assessed quality
Rotrex Winches’ quality systems have been independently assessed to BS EN ISO 9001:2008. A structured programme of independent audits by the British Standards Institute (widely recognised as one of the most stringent accreditation bodies in the UK) and The Lifting Equipment Engineers’ Association ensures that Rotrex Winches’ best-in-class procedures remain consistent.
Rotrex Winches is also independently assessed by First Point Assessment (part of the Achilles Group).
Quality products
The Rotrex Winches range of products includes many brands which are renowned for their proven designs, durable engineering and operational effectiveness. We hire and sell winches and powered hoists from Ingersoll Rand and from OMAC Engineering. We are exclusive UK distributors for OMAC products and an Ingersoll Rand UK winch and hoist distributor.
In addition, we hire products which are manufactured by Thompson Winches, McTaggart Scott, Imatrans, Stothert & Pitt, SEB International, Thalens, Rozler and NIM Engineering.
Quality processes
Rotrex Winches ensures that all hire products are fully inspected, maintained and tested in accordance with the LOLER and PUWER regulations. By using competent engineers with experience and training appropriate to each returning hire product, Rotrex Winches ensures that all products for hire are fully fit for purpose and certified at the start of each new hire.
