Rotrex deck sheaves are highly versatile and are primarily used for diverting the winch wire rope path through various angles. Typically uses include over-boarding and deck winch wire rope routing. Rotrex deck sheaves have custom built deflection rollers that enable high angle entry of the wire rope onto the sheave thus eliminating damage to the wire rope and sheave. This is beneficial when deck space does not allow for the winch and deck sheave to be positioned close enough to provide the recommended 1.5° of fleeting angle onto the sheave.
