The NIM E0.5 is a single drum electrically operated lifting winch. The drum is driven via an internal gear reduction unit by a 415v 3 phase, braked (auto fail-safe) electric motor. It is operated by a push-button pendant controller and is single speed in both directions. As with any electrical installation, this winch must be installed by suitably qualified persons.

The SAMIIA TSOR is a double drum, air powered, slushing winch (haulage only). The drums are powered by a pair of air gear motors via internal gearing. The motors run continuously when being supplied by air. The drums are powered in one direction only and each is individually controlled by its own control lever so one drum can allow free pay-out whilst the other is driven to pay-in and vice-versa.
