The model 46 is a Trailer Mounted Bullhead type pulling winch,
designed specifically for hauling through ducts & trenches.
The Bullheads are powered via hydraulic motors, driven by
a Lister 2 cylinder multi staged pump set. The storage drum
is driven automatically from the bullhead drive via V belts.
The Bullhead 'pay-in' and 'pay-out' are controlled via a manually
operated hydraulic control valve mounted adjacent to the control
panel, which houses the load indication dial.
When in use the winch must be fitted with an adjustable length
boom.
The two wheeled trailer is road worthy and conforms to current
EC regulations.
