Service engineers and workshop fitters with skills and experience in a range of diesel mechanics, pneumatics, electrics and hydraulics will fit the technical profile required by Rotrex Winches.
Specific experience in winches is obviously preferable but not essential. Working offshore in support of the large winches will be a requirement.
You will initially be paired with an experienced engineer/fitter and, following Rotrex Winches’ internal ISO 9000:2007 rated procedures, learn off hire inspection, simple maintenance and repair requirements across a range of standard hire equipment.
After a 6 month probation period you will be assessed for an offshore survival course. Successfully completing this course is an essential requirement for progressing into the team of permanent fitters who support Rotrex Winches’ equipment in workshops and offshore.
