Rotrex Winches have sold six of Omac’s F215.P.25, 2.5t twin bull wheel trailer winches to a Yorkshire based electrical contractor.
The MD of the company saw one of our hire fleet 4t units out on site and was very impressed with what he saw. He has twelve old 2t Plumett winches to replace as it is getting harder for him to get the parts for these machines after having them for many years.
They are using these winches on new wind farm developments all over the UK and Ireland; they also have other cabling contracts for general installation of various sized cables. Rotrex Winches were up against Grundotug machines but they told us that the Omac product was far better value for money and more up to date with its digital display and the technology. They have also purchased two of the F275.P.40 4t Twin bull wheel units from us and are also very pleased with. All of the winches are fitted with water cooled engines and the benefit of this is that it makes the machines quieter in operation than the standard air cooled models.
