Rotrex Winches have taken delivery of the first all terrain, self-propelled cable pulling winch to arrive in the UK from manufacturers Omac in Italy.
A standard 10t pulling capacity twin bull wheel winch has been mounted on rubber caterpillar tracks to give outstanding all terrain travel capability. A range of all terrain, self-propelled cable pulling winches from 4t to 40t pulling capacity are available, giving many benefits to users.

This makes the Omac F280.P.100 track mounted winch ideal for cable installation or cable recovery where wheeled vehicles and trailers would operate poorly. It is ideal for accessing soft ground, sloping ground, sensitive ground and inaccessible landscapes. Ground loadings at less than 5% of a single axle standard 10t Omac winch with 1300m of rope will make working on sensitive ground a reality.
