Winches |
Thompson Worm Gear Winches utilise high quality components, coupled
with a simple yet effective design. For haulage applications the
inherent braking effect of the worm gear is sufficient to hold the
load, the addition of an auto-failsafe brake makes the winches suitable
for lifting applications. The range covers capacities from 0.25
tonnes to 2.6 tonnes.

Winches |
The Thompson range of Compact Hand Winches
are fitted with an integral automatic brake, making them suitable
for all lifting applications. All moving parts of the gear train and
brake are totally enclosed to ensure total safety when in use. Covering
capacities from 0.1 tonnes to 3 tonnes, the standard range benefits
from a high specification paint finish. An electro plated finish is
available as an option. |

Thompson winches offer a range of Cable
Drum Trailers to handle drums up to 20 tonnes in weight 4 metres in
diameter and 3 metres in width. Smaller models are fitted with overrun
brakes and the larger capacity trailers are fitted with air brakes.

provide a unique solution. The combined manhole lifter - personal Tripod
is ideal for the descent of personnel into confined spaces. When not
in use the complete tripod folds away into the boot of a car. |
