For safe and easy drum handling, all Rotrex cable drum trailers are fitted with hydraulic hand pump operated lift/lower systems as standard. Alongside this, when the drum is fully raised mechanical locks ensure drum security in transit. (Detailed specifications can be provided on request).
ECC Directive Approved
All the cable drum trailers in our Highway Range section are equipped with braking and road lighting systems that conform with EEC Directives. Allowing them to travel fully laden on the UK Highway and most other European Countries.
Cable Drum Trailer – Site Range
Designed and supplied specifically for “Off Road Use,” these site trailers are all fitted with some form of brake system, hand parking facility and basic vehicle lights. All units incorporate the same drum handling features as the Highway Range.

Rotrex deck sheaves have custom built deflection rollers that enable high angle entry of the wire rope onto the sheave thus eliminating damage to the wire rope and sheave.
